Quitaracsa is a 115 MW hydroelectric power plant located in Peru, operated by Energía del Sur S.A. The facility utilizes water flow to produce electricity, contributing to Peru's renewable energy generation. As the 11th largest hydro plant in Peru, Quitaracsa accounts for 4.2% of the country's total hydro capacity of 2,735 MW. Peru has 14 hydro plants with a combined capacity of 2,735 MW.
