The Singkarak hydro power station ranks as the 120th largest power generation facility in Indonesia, contributing 175 MW to the national grid, which represents 0.16% of the country’s total capacity of 108,203 MW from 297 plants. In a country where gas dominates the energy landscape, the significance of Singkarak is enhanced by its position as the 15th largest hydro facility among 66 similar plants.
