Zafarana Solar Power Station is a 43 MW solar power facility in Egypt, commissioned in 2022. It is operated by the Egyptian government and contributes to the growing solar energy sector in the country. Ranked #15 of 32 solar plants in Egypt, Zafarana's 43 MW represents 0.95% of Egypt's total solar capacity of 4,524 MW. The largest solar plant in Egypt is Benban Solar Park at 1,650 MW, making Zafarana 38.3 times smaller.
