Poland's energy and power generation sector is a critical component of the nation's economy and infrastructure, characterized by a diverse mix of energy sources and a complex landscape of power generation facilities. The Polish government has acknowledged the need for a transition to a low-carbon economy and has set ambitious targets for increasing renewable energy capacity in the coming years. Poland's commitment to the European Union's climate goals necessitates a shift away from coal, aligning with broader global trends towards sustainability and carbon neutrality.

However, the transition to renewable energy sources presents several challenges for Poland.
