Ranked #6 of 148 solar plants in Thailand, it contributes 2.97% to the country's total solar capacity of 1,348 MW. The largest solar plant in Thailand is Nakhon Sawan Solar Power Plant at 90 MW, making Lopburi SSP 2.25 times smaller. Nearby plants include Kaeng Khoi 2 Power Plant (Gas, 1468 MW) and two other Kaeng Khoi 2 facilities (Gas, 1468 MW each). The facility is located approximately 150 km north of Bangkok.
