The facility generates electricity using natural gas, contributing to Poland's gas generation capacity. It is the 20th largest gas plant in Poland. With 106 MW, it represents 2.12% of the country's total gas capacity of 4,994 MW. Poland has 27 gas plants with a combined capacity of 4,994 MW. Compared to the country's largest gas plant, Łęg Cogeneration and Power Plant at 480 MW, this facility is approximately 1/5th the size. Natural gas is increasingly significant in Poland's energy mix, providing a cleaner alternative to coal.
