Ningxia Gaoshawo is a 20 MW solar power plant in China, commissioned in 2018. It is part of the growing solar energy infrastructure in the region. Ranked #650 of 1329 solar plants in China, it contributes 0.04% to the total solar capacity of 54,642 MW. The largest solar plant in China is Ili Kazakh I at 1,000 MW, making Ningxia Gaoshawo 50 times smaller. Nearby plants include Yinxing power station (1,320 MW, Coal), CPI Ningxia Zaoquan power station (1,320 MW, Coal), and Shenhua Yuanyang Lake power station (1,320 MW, Coal). The plant is located in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, about 300 km west of Yinchuan.
