Fengying power station is a 120 MW coal-fired power plant located in China, operated by Jiaozuo Mining Group. The plant generates electricity from coal and contributes to the country's extensive coal power generation capacity. It ranks as the 925th largest coal plant in China. With a capacity of 120 MW, it represents 0.01% of China's total coal capacity of 1,030,281 MW. China has 1,012 coal plants with a combined capacity exceeding 1,030,000 MW. Compared to the largest coal plant in China, the East Hope Metals Wucaiwan power station at 7,000 MW, Fengying is approximately 1/58th the size. Coal is a dominant fuel source in China's energy mix, accounting for around 57% of the country's electricity generation. The Fengying power station utilizes local coal resources, aligning with China's ongoing energy strategies. It is situated approximately 600 km southwest of Beijing in the central part of the country.
